NVIDIA used its stage at Consumer Electronics Show 2026 to expand its graphics and AI roadmap, announcing DLSS 4.5 alongside new RTX technologies, cloud gaming updates, and AI-powered tools for games and content creation.

The centerpiece of the announcements was Deep Learning Super Sampling 4.5, which introduces a second-generation Super Resolution transformer model and a new feature called Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.

According to Nvidia, the updated Super Resolution model improves temporal stability, reduces ghosting artifacts, and delivers cleaner edges during motion, addressing long-standing visual issues in fast-paced games.

Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation is designed to scale performance up to a display’s refresh rate by intelligently generating additional frames. Nvidia claims the technology can deliver up to six times frame generation under supported conditions.

While the second-generation Super Resolution model is already available across all RTX GPUs, Dynamic 6x Frame Generation is scheduled to launch in spring 2026 and will be exclusive to RTX 50 Series graphics cards. Nvidia announced that DLSS 4.5 support is rolling out to more than 400 games via the Nvidia app.

Beyond DLSS, the company also introduced RTX Remix Logic, a new capability within its RTX Remix toolset. RTX Remix Logic allows game graphics to dynamically respond to real-time gameplay events, enabling more reactive lighting, materials, and visual effects. Nvidia confirmed the feature will become available later this month.

Nvidia also announced platform expansions for GeForce Now, adding native support for Linux systems and Amazon’s Fire TV devices. The move broadens access to the company’s cloud gaming ecosystem beyond traditional PCs and consoles.

In gaming AI, Nvidia unveiled an AI-powered advisor for Total War: Rome II, built using its NVIDIA ACE technology. The AI advisor is designed to assist players with strategic guidance during gameplay. A playtest program for the feature is expected to begin sometime in 2026.

For creators, Nvidia announced that LTX-2, an AI video generation model, is now optimized to run on RTX GPUs. The model is available for download via Hugging Face and ComfyUI, allowing developers and artists to experiment with local, GPU-accelerated video generation.

Taken together, the announcements reinforce Nvidia’s dual focus at CES 2026: pushing visual fidelity and performance in games while deepening the integration of AI across gaming, cloud services, and creative workflows.
