According to Windows Central’s reporting, the issue does not appear to be an isolated glitch or a recurrence of previously known bugs. January Update Linked to Cloud-Related Crashes
Microsoft has acknowledged that the instability is tied to the January Patch Tuesday update, specifically the KB5074109 package. After installing the update, some users are experiencing application crashes or sudden shutdowns when opening or saving files stored in cloud-based locations.
