Apple has officially begun selling Sony’s PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers through its online store, marking the debut of third-party controller support for Apple Vision Pro under visionOS 26.
PSVR2 Sense Controllers Arrive for VisionOS
First announced at WWDC 2025, Apple confirmed that Vision Pro users would soon gain compatibility with Sony’s PSVR2 Sense Controllers — and that day has arrived.
The controllers, bundled with a charging stand, are now available to order from Apple’s online store for $249.95, with in-store availability beginning Monday, November 17. Interestingly, Apple’s store is currently the only place offering the controllers separately from Sony’s PSVR2 headset.
Enhanced Gameplay for Vision Pro
Since the launch of Vision Pro last year, users have sought more precise input options beyond hand and eye tracking. With PSVR2 Sense support, Apple Vision Pro can now deliver high-precision gameplay and immersive interaction in supported apps and titles — including new games like Pickle Pro, a virtual reality pickleball experience.
According to Apple:
“Now, developers can deliver even more engaging gameplay experiences for Apple Vision Pro thanks to high-performance motion tracking in 6 degrees of freedom, finger touch detection, and vibration support.”
