Sony announced on Tuesday (11) a new 27-inch gaming monitor designed to complement the PlayStation 5 ecosystem. The product was revealed during the State of Play Asia presentation and is set to launch in 2026 in Japan and the United States. Pricing details have not yet been disclosed.
With this new addition, Sony continues to expand its lineup of PlayStation 5 accessories and hardware. The monitor features a QHD IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, offering vivid colours and excellent viewing angles.

It also features HDR support, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and high refresh rates, reaching 120 Hz on the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240 Hz on compatible PCs.
DualSense Charging Hook

The standout feature is the DualSense Charging Hook — a built-in support that lets users hang and charge their PlayStation 5 controllers directly from the monitor.

While Microsoft continues to diversify its Xbox hardware strategy, Sony is taking the opposite approach by deepening its commitment to PlayStation-branded devices.
In recent years, the company has introduced several new accessories, including the PlayStation Portal, a handheld device designed for Remote Play that features a built-in DualSense controller and support for cloud gaming.
Another addition is the Pulse Elevate, a premium speaker featuring PlayStation Link technology. It promises high-quality sound and full compatibility with Tempest 3D AudioTech, further expanding the PlayStation ecosystem.
