Sony Unveils New 27-Inch Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Support

Sony announced on Tuesday (11) a new 27-inch gaming monitor designed to complement the PlayStation 5 ecosystem. The product was revealed during the State of Play Asia presentation and is set to launch in 2026 in Japan and the United States. Pricing details have not yet been disclosed.

With this new addition, Sony continues to expand its lineup of PlayStation 5 accessories and hardware. The monitor features a QHD IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, offering vivid colours and excellent viewing angles.

It also features HDR supportVariable Refresh Rate (VRR), and high refresh rates, reaching 120 Hz on the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240 Hz on compatible PCs.

The standout feature is the DualSense Charging Hook — a built-in support that lets users hang and charge their PlayStation 5 controllers directly from the monitor.

Another addition is the Pulse Elevate, a premium speaker featuring PlayStation Link technology. It promises high-quality sound and full compatibility with Tempest 3D AudioTech, further expanding the PlayStation ecosystem.
