AMD could be preparing to expand its acclaimed lineup of 3D V-Cache gaming processors with a new, more affordable model — the Ryzen 5 7500X3D.
A new leak suggests that the chipmaker is working on a six-core variant aimed at budget-conscious gamers, potentially bringing AMD’s signature X3D gaming performance to a lower price point.
New Leak Points to Ryzen 5 7500X3D
The leak originates from UK retailer Westcoast.co.uk, which briefly listed a product titled “7500X3D RYZEN 5 TRAY.” The listing, first spotted by reliable hardware leaker @momomo_us on X (formerly Twitter), references an unfamiliar product code: 100-000001904.
While no technical details were provided, hardware site VideoCardz speculates that the Ryzen 5 7500X3D will feature six cores, twelve threads, and 96MB of L3 cache — the same 3D V-Cache configuration found on AMD’s higher-end 7000-series X3D CPUs. Clock speeds may be slightly lower than the existing Ryzen 5 7600X3D, but the large cache could still give it outstanding gaming performance.
Why the X3D Line Is So Popular
AMD’s X3D processors have earned widespread praise since debuting in early 2023. CPUs such as the Ryzen 7 7800X3D quickly became known as the best gaming processors on the market, largely thanks to AMD’s innovative 3D V-Cache technology.
This tech stacks an additional cache chip directly on top of the CPU die, increasing the L3 cache from 32MB to 96MB.
