Honor is gearing up to launch the Magic8 series, and ahead of its debut, the company has given us a taste of what to expect in terms of performance. Li Kun, an Honor executive, shared the Magic8’s AnTuTu v11 benchmark results earlier today on Weibo, and the numbers are impressive.
The Magic8 scored a whopping 4,166,339 points in total. Breaking it down: the CPU hit 1,213,845, the GPU reached 1,468,351, memory scored 570,553, and the UX posted 913,590.
Outperforming Xiaomi’s latest flagship
For comparison, Xiaomi’s newly launched 17 Pro, which also packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, managed a total of 3,749,435 in the same test. That included 1,053,385 for CPU, 1,332,311 for GPU, 529,807 for memory, and 833,932 for UX.
On paper, this puts the Magic8 ahead of the Xiaomi 17 Pro across every category, showing just how far Honor has pushed hardware optimization on its upcoming device.
Beyond raw power, the Magic8 series is expected to lean heavily on AI features, with Honor teasing support for over 3,000 scenarios across 100 popular apps.
The Magic8 Pro will also come equipped with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, featuring an 85mm equivalent lens and f/2.6 aperture, making it a strong contender in mobile photography.
