NVIDIA has rolled out its WHQL-certified GeForce Game Ready 581.29 driver, just in time for two major game launches this month: Borderlands 4 and Dying Light: The Beast.
Borderlands 4 – September 12
The new driver unlocks NVIDIA’s latest AI-powered features for Borderlands 4, including:
- DLSS 4 upscaling for sharper visuals
- Multi-Frame Generation promises up to 5x more frames
- NVIDIA Reflex for reduced system latency
As part of a limited promotion, Borderlands 4 will be bundled with select RTX 50 series GPUs and laptops through September 22. Buyers will also receive the Gilded Glory Pack add-on at no extra charge.
Dying Light: The Beast – September 19
Launching a week later, Dying Light: The Beast will also debut with DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, bringing smoother frame rates and more fluid gameplay.

The update doesn’t just focus on new titles—it also tackles a number of issues users have reported in recent weeks:
- Marvel Rivals: Fixed a performance bug that affected certain 581.xx drivers.
- Counter-Strike 2: Corrected slight text distortion at non-native resolutions.
- Adobe Premiere Pro: Resolved potential freezes during export with hardware encoding.
- Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: Fixed light flickering after recent updates.
