On September 15, Samsung began pushing out its One UI 8 update, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. The software, which runs on Android 16, introduces several of the headline features the company has been previewing throughout the year.
Tucked away in Samsung’s announcement was also a roadmap for 2025, outlining which phones and tablets are next in line. The list isn’t exhaustive—devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and regional lines like the Galaxy F and Galaxy M aren’t mentioned—but it still provides a good look at what owners can expect over the coming months.
There’s a slight downside, however. While the Galaxy S25 family is already receiving the new software, every other eligible device will have to wait until October or later before One UI 8 becomes available.

Samsung clarified that this isn’t the full list of supported devices. Some region-exclusive Galaxy models aren’t included, and additional tablets and midrange devices could still join the roadmap.
If Samsung sticks to its schedule, most of these devices will have One UI 8 by the end of 2025, giving Galaxy owners plenty to look forward to.
