Apple has officially announced its next major event, set for Tuesday, September 9, at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. The keynote will begin at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, following the same early-September schedule as last year.

Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhones: one standard model and two Pro versions. However, this year could see a shakeup in the lineup. Reports suggest the iPhone 17 Plus may be replaced by a new iPhone 17 Air, a slimmer device measuring just 5.5 mm thick with a 6.6-inch display—making it Apple’s thinnest phone yet.

The base iPhone 17 is also getting a significant upgrade, moving to a 6.3-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a first for Apple’s non-Pro models.

Apple Watch and AirPods Updates

Alongside the iPhones, Apple is likely to introduce updates to its smartwatch lineup, including the Apple Watch Series 11, SE 3, and the Apple Watch Ultra 3. The Ultra 3 in particular is rumored to feature a larger screen and faster charging support.

Apple may also debut the long-awaited AirPods Pro 3. These would mark the first update to the Pro series in three years, featuring a more compact design, a new chip for improved noise cancellation and audio quality, and touch-sensitive controls.
