Apple has raised the monthly price of its Apple TV+ streaming service in the U.S. to $12.99, marking the platform’s third price hike since its launch in 2019, according to a report from 9to5Mac.
When Apple TV+ debuted, the service cost just $4.99 per month. That increased to $6.99 in 2022, then $9.99 in 2023, and now sits at $12.99. The new rate also applies in select international markets.
Annual subscriptions remain unchanged at $99, and prices for Apple One bundles — which combine Apple TV+ with other services like Apple Music, iCloud, and Apple Arcade — are not affected.
The price adjustment is already in effect for new subscribers. Current customers will see the higher rate applied 30 days after their next renewal date. Free trial options are still available.
In a statement to 9to5Mac, Apple said the increase reflects the platform’s growing library of original programming and pointed to Apple One as a cost-effective way to access multiple Apple services.
Apple isn’t alone in raising streaming prices — Disney+, Netflix, and other platforms have also adjusted their monthly fees in recent years as competition and content costs continue to rise.
