Fresh reports surrounding NVIDIA’s unannounced GeForce RTX 50 SUPER lineup suggest the company may be preparing a refresh of its Blackwell-based graphics card family, with performance improvements ranging from modest gains to double-digit increases over existing models.
While NVIDIA has yet to confirm the existence of the products, industry speculation continues to build around a potential launch window stretching from late 2026 into early 2027.
Four Models Reportedly in Development
According to information shared by technology channel Moore’s Law Is Dead, NVIDIA’s rumored refresh lineup may consist of four graphics cards.
The reported models include the GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti SUPER, GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER and a new GeForce RTX 5060 variant equipped with 12 GB of memory.
Previous leaks had focused primarily on the higher-end products, but the addition of a refreshed RTX 5060 suggests NVIDIA could be planning updates across multiple performance tiers.
RTX 5080 SUPER Could Lead the Gains
Among the rumored products, the GeForce RTX 5080 SUPER is expected to offer the most substantial improvements.
Reports indicate the card may feature a 50 percent increase in video memory capacity alongside higher memory bandwidth. As a result, performance gains are estimated to fall between 7 percent and 14 percent compared with the standard RTX 5080.
If accurate, the increase would position the card as a notable upgrade for enthusiasts seeking additional performance without moving to a completely new GPU generation.
Mid-Range Models Expected to Receive Upgrades
The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti SUPER is also rumored to receive a significant memory upgrade, potentially featuring 24 GB of VRAM.
Performance improvements for the card are estimated at between 5 percent and 10 percent over the existing RTX 5070 Ti, according to the report.
Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER may receive both additional memory and expanded processing resources. Industry sources suggest the card could increase its CUDA core count to approximately 6,400, adding 256 more cores than the standard version.
The GPU is also expected to increase memory capacity from 12 GB to 18 GB, potentially delivering performance gains in the range of 8 percent to 12 percent.
RTX 5060 Variant Raises Questions
The most uncertain product in the reported lineup is a revised RTX 5060 featuring 12 GB of memory.
Sources cited in the report indicate there is still disagreement regarding its final branding, with some suggesting it could launch as an RTX 5060 SUPER while others believe NVIDIA may adopt a different naming strategy.
At present, the additional memory appears to be the only rumored change. No reliable information has emerged regarding possible increases in core counts, clock speeds or overall gaming performance.
The move has drawn comparisons to the popular GeForce RTX 3060, which gained attention for offering a larger memory configuration than many competing cards in its segment.
Launch Expected Around CES 2027
Earlier speculation suggested the RTX 50 SUPER series could arrive before the end of 2026. However, the latest information points to a launch window spanning the final quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.
Industry observers believe the products could be unveiled during or around Consumer Electronics Show 2027, traditionally one of the largest technology showcases of the year.
If NVIDIA follows previous release patterns, an official announcement at CES could be followed by retail availability shortly afterward.
