As usual, Qualcomm used its annual Snapdragon Summit to showcase the latest hardware and outline its vision for the next generation of devices. The event is where the company typically unveils processors for upcoming smartphones and ARM-based computers—the so-called Copilot+ PCs. This year, gamers got particularly good news.

During the showcase, Qualcomm introduced several new chips, headlined by the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme, which promises a dramatic leap in gaming performance on Windows 11 ARM.

The new chip aims to change that. Early tests show strong stability and performance gains in demanding titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.

Epic Games is also backing the platform—its anti-cheat system and game services are coming to Windows ARM, with Fortnite and Gears of War: Reloaded among the first big titles available to Insider users.

Peripheral makers are getting on board too. Razer announced that its Synapse software is being adapted for ARM, meaning players will be able to customize RGB lighting and peripherals without compatibility headaches.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm confirmed that Alien: Rogue Incursion, a major upcoming release, will run smoothly on Windows 11 ARM thanks to Snapdragon’s integrated NPU. This AI-powered hardware is designed to enhance real-time recognition, character interactions, and other advanced features without bogging down the CPU or GPU.

It’s not just games. Apps like Voicemod will officially support Windows ARM, using the NPU for real-time voice effects and synthesis while leaving system resources free for other tasks.

With these improvements, Qualcomm is positioning its latest chips not just as power-efficient processors for laptops, but as legitimate gaming-ready hardware—something Windows on ARM has sorely needed.
