Galaxy A06 with Android 14 will be sold in a new gold color

By Aayush

A recently leaked image provides a glimpse of the upcoming Galaxy A06 in three color options, featuring the familiar black and white tones and a new gold option for those seeking a more distinctive look.

The leak, shared by renowned leaker Evan Blass on X (formerly Twitter), also confirms that the Galaxy A06 will sport a textured back cover with raised vertical lines and include the Key Island design—a raised area for the side buttons to facilitate easier access to volume and power controls.

The Galaxy A06 has also been spotted undergoing performance testing on Geekbench, under the model number SM-A065F, as previously reported in earlier leaks. The device recorded 419 points in the single-core test and 1,391 points in the multi-core test, and it will come pre-installed with Android 14.

Equipped with 4 GB of RAM, the smartphone utilizes a chipset similar to the MediaTek Helio G85, confirming that this will be a 4G connectivity device. While the Helio G85 chipset offers a satisfactory daily user experience, it may not be well-suited for more demanding tasks.

It’s anticipated that the Galaxy A06 will carry over several features from its predecessor. Recent rumors suggest that the phone will reuse the 6.7-inch HD resolution LCD panel, just like the Galaxy A05. The device is also expected to have the same camera setup, featuring a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP secondary sensor, and an 8 MP front camera. Additionally, the Galaxy A06 will likely maintain the 5,000 mAh battery capacity, with 25 W fast charging, potentially providing users with significant battery life.

As the launch of Samsung’s new entry-level smartphone approaches, more details are expected to surface, especially with the increasing number of certifications being filed.
